Akyat Pa More!

I was watching the 2015 Film "Everest" and can't helped myself but wonder about the highest mountains in the world. There are amazing mountains all over the globe, and most of the highest peaks are located in Nepal.

I remembered Romi Garduce, a Filipino mountaineer, whose adventure to Mount Everest has been broadcasted by GMA 7 in 2006.

His adventure wasn't easy. And so as other Filipino expeditions too.

Although Romi was not held as the First Filipino to reach the Everest Summit,Wikipedia pronounced that he is the first, and to-date the only Filipino, who has climbed all Seven Summits. READ MORE...>>

DIY MINI COTTON “CANDY” INVITATIONS by Oh Happy Day!

DIY Mini Cotton "Candy" Invitations | Oh Happy Day!

I really have a soft spot for all things miniature. Anything that’s awesome in its regular size just gets oh so much more adorable in mini. So, when i was thinking of a fun way to invite friends to a little backyard carnival, the idea for these mini cotton candy invitations popped into my mind. Now, these are really not suitable for little kids – they might try eat the cotton, but older children and grown-ups like me will go crazy over these sweet things with the hidden message inside! You can use them as invitations like I do or you could make them as the carnival alternative to fortune cookies and hide little fortunes inside. Getting Ready for the Holidays!

Nope, it's not about the vacation!

I'm excited for the upcoming giveaways preparation this Holiday Season. I'm thinking of small items that can be used either at home and office, rather than display and decoration that most people ignore. I personally made the invitation for my baby girl's Christening last August. It's time-consuming but I've enjoyed doing it. Now, I'm all crafty about doing it again this Christmas.

I wanted to express my gratitude to the people who became part of my 2015. Although it's a bit cheesy, but this year is special to me because I have my baby girl, Athena. All the people who helped me during my delivery, baby shower, Christening party

Thanks to Bumble Bee's Craft Den! Angie, the author of this wonderful blog, offers diverse tutorial and gift ideas (mostly DIY) that you may use in creating your personalized gifts! Click here for more Christmas Gift Ideas. Genius!

Bowl Cover Tutorial

I also love Petro's Creative Homemaking blog! She has this sewing tutorial about reusable fabric bowl cover that is very easy to follow! With the tutorial comes a lot of pictures that can guide you from the start to end. You can choose your own cloth and color theme, especially for Christmas Season! Visit her site at The Seaman Mom. Colorful and artistic!

Test Tube Candy Corn-7

Lastly, Andrea's The Beauty Dojo created a window for busy wife like me. This gift ideas is safe because obviously, everybody will like this.. CANDIES!!!! Her post last October 2 entitled I LOVE CANDY CORN TEST TUBE FAVORS + FREE PRINTABLE shows how candies with customized package will surely wins everyone's heart this Christmas. Easy and affordable!

Thanks to Totally Tutorials for introducing me to a lot of DIY blogs that are truly helpful. I hope that by sharing these to you, you became more inspired in customizing your gift ideas and other stuff at home and office.

i.e. versus e.g.

Have you ever wondered what's the difference between i.e and e.g.?

I am more curious about the meaning of them since they looked like acronyms for me.

Let's see here  i.e. v. e.g.

I am thanking all my teachers from Banga Elementary School, Meycauayan College - High School Faculty, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines - COA Faculty!

Thank you for all the gift of knowledge and wisdom that can be learned only within the four corners of the room (literally).

I would also like to acknowledge my cousins, Ma'am Mai, Ate Ammil and Teacher Candy for your help in building a better (and intelligent!) nation... Kudos!

Happy World Teacher's Day!!!!

Automatic Fare Collecting System by MRT

This is the new MRT Card.

October 3, 2015 is the commencement  date of implementing the new Automatic Fare Collecting System of MRT.

My fare from Guadalupe to Taft is Php16.00. Not sure if it is the same rate of the old MRT card. The ticketing booth took at least half a minute in issuing a card, solely because they are roaming around the system before the card gets loaded- clicking the destination, amount, then confirmation.. #mejomatagal

Note that there are MRT personnel around the stations who will assist passangers in using the said card so you'll never get lost. One more thing, senior citizens are enjoying the free ride today!

Let's see how the MRT management will cope up on the number of passangers come Monday.

Oh, by the way, you'll be having the same card when riding LRT Line 1, just that it's color green. :)

Gilas Pilipinas on Finals! One More Win to Rio! (The Truth)

Oh yeah.

I can't contain my happiness!

Yesterday I posted a blog (with the same title) during their game with Japan not to give a false hope, but it's because I wanted everyone (including myself) to trust in our Team and wish for a damn good fight.

They didn't failed us. A struggling score of 81-70 paved way for Gilas to play for the Gold Medal against China before the Olympics to be held at Rio de Janeiro.

Musong R. Castillo of Philippine Daily Inquirer wrote:
"That one final step Gilas Pilipinas needs to take to reach Rio de Janeiro would, in a manner of speaking, have to be over China’s Great Wall."

Nevertheless, now, I can finally tweet my excitement and happiness.. A big CONGRATULATIONS to Gilas Pilipinas!!! You made us so proud!

They are now fighting against Japan and I'm crossing my fingers, praying, and cheering! Go Gilas!!!

Respect and play your game plan. FOCUS!!! Two more wins to Rio, baby!!
