Ms. Jaclyn Jose - Best Actress at the Cannes Festival 2016

Wow. This is breaking news! Ms. Jaclyn Jose bagged the Best Actress award for her role in Ma' Rosa directed by Brillante Mendoza in the previously held Cannes Film Festival 2016. She has currently seen in GMA network for her role as Cora Kamkam in Naku, Boss Ko!, Stella Vergara-Montecillo in The Millionaire's Wife, and as Mrs. Ventura in That's My Amboy.


This is the first time that she ever received an award from Cannes, and I think the first time for the Philippines to actually win an award from this prestigious award-giving body. Congrats Ms. Jaclyn!
