The Board of Accountancy (BOA) recently issued the revised syllabus for the Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination or simply CPA Board Exam that will be happening on May 2016.The old seven-subject-exam will be reduced to six composed of the following:
1. Taxation
2. Regulatory Framework for Business Transactions
3. Financial Accounting and Reporting
4. Advanced Financial Accounting and Reporting
5. Management Advisory Services
6. Auditing
Whether the old subjects split or merge, there is an absolute evidence that even the education and the licensing exam is moving parallel with the advancing economy of the country. I wish all of the Board exam takers a very good luck and may you also contribute to the betterment of the Philippines.
